Visual system
A single poster or homepage can look good in isolation. A visual system is what ensures your sales decks, your recruitment ads and your trade fair booth all look like they come from the same confident company.
Approach
Once your stylescape and logo are in place, I build the design system that surrounds them. Every element is chosen for a strategic reason and tested across the formats your business actually uses, whether that is technical B2B datasheets, product packaging or digital campaigns.
I define exact colour proportions so your layouts keep their atmosphere, clear typographic hierarchies for headlines and running text, layout grids, and practical rules for photography and graphic accents. The entire system is then handed over inside your interactive online brand guidelines.
What’s included
Main and supporting colours with usage ratios, WCAG contrast checks and values for screen and print.
Selecting and pairing display and text typefaces, defining sizes, line heights and fallback fonts for everyday office documents.
Compositional rules, supporting shapes, textures or framing devices that give your layouts a recognisable rhythm.
Defining lighting, colour grading, subject matter and clear examples so future photo shoots stay on brand.

A visual system has to work for the people using it every day. Alongside your primary brand typefaces, I always define system fallback fonts and clear colour and layout rules so internal documents and presentations stay sharp outside professional design software.
I select typefaces that fit both your brand character and your needs, and tell you where to license them. Commercial font licences are always purchased directly in your company's name so you own them cleanly.
Brand codes are the standout hooks, such as a specific colour pairing, symbol or mascot, that make people recognise you instantly. The visual system is the complete set of rules, grids, body typography and spacing that lets your team build any material cleanly.
